The proposed consolidation project represents a once-in-a-generation investment in the future of water service for Lake Morena Village. The project will combine the infrastructure, finances, and management of neighboring water systems into a single mutual water company serving the community.
ABOUT US
Lake Morena Views Mutual Water Company serves the upper portion of Lake Morena Village in eastern San Diego County. The company is governed by an elected Board of Directors and operates as a mutual water company dedicated to providing dependable drinking water service to the community it serves. The system currently serves approximately 130 residential connections and 3 commercial connections within the Upper Village service area.
Our water supply comes from local groundwater sources, with 3 active wells. The system has faced multiple water quality challenges and has identified the long-term solution as consolidation with Lake Morena's Oak Shores Mutual Water Company and Lake Morena County Park.
In 2024, the State Water Resources Control Board appointed Stantec as the Administrator of Lake Morena Views Mutual Water Company to support technical, managerial, and financial capacity and oversee the system until consolidation is complete. Our team works closely with regulatory agencies and technical advisors to maintain and improve interim and long-term system operations

These projects are being supported through state funding programs that help rural communities invest in critical water infrastructure.
